Design and made during a seven week furniture design course in Copenhagen, DIDI STØL follows DIDI routines, ergonomics and proportions. As such it sits between a dining and lounge chair.
Throughout the course, I was particularly inspired by Børge Mogensen’s design philosophy: to create things that serve people, through human-centric functionality and material honesty.
I revisited the design two years later and made slight improvements using digital modelling tools for reproduction.
